Well, if we were closer together, I could fumble through the software, learn it and probably tell you all about how to use it to program. I have a degree in programming and I am seldom stumped by anything on a computer.
If you could rip the software CD to a file and send it to me somehow...

I believe the RMStator ECU is the same as the Procom ECU.
Check them out.
I think they are supposed to be adjustable by just a clicker on the unit that shuffles it through 9 preset maps....
Different I think.

I just read a review of it on a KFX right before reading this....
Confusing stuff.
I understand what you mean though.
It's just 9 preset maps you can click through.
Obviously, there is a way they program them though.
Someone will figure out how to do the programming and be able to load 9 custom maps.

Mine had no place to hook up an input cable... the maps were generic and it wouldnt start cold with it on. I had to hook up my stocker, start it and let it warm up, then put my Pro-Com on. I had a fully ported head, intake, and Dasa Exhaust with a custom higher flowing header, and I still could only get it to run right on the -% map.

if you have the rmstator one, the factory one, or any that look like them, they dont have a hook up on them. the kfx has a hook up on it from the factory for the aftermarket tuner. atleast it works on the one from kawasaki. i dont know about the aftermarket ones.. if you ever looked under the hood of your kawi and wondered why there were two plugs under there wrapped in little black velcro bags. thats why. the one hooks up the the ecu

They all have a way of programming... else they would have never been programmed to start with.
It would just have to be figured out.
The stock ECU for example has a communication hook-up or two in the stock harness, and also one labeled non-use.
That is likely how the stock data is loaded.
The big question is what kind of memory it writes to?
May be re-writable or flashable... may not.
