Pc111 vs dobeck fuel controller

just wondering if there is an increase in power with a pc111 vs a dobeck . i am looking for a little more power and i have a dobeck right now but dont wanna spend 300 bucks if there is not a good diff ? also how good are hot cams stage 2 i am looking at those too vs the kx 450f cams ?

The PCIII will make more power if you can get it custom dyno tuned. It just gets the A/F ratio closer at a smaller RPM interval. If not, you might not notice much of a difference, unless you have the same mods as someone else, and they can give you a map.

And the Stage 2 KFX hotcams are equivalent to the KX cams, I believe. Stage 3 KFX would be stage 2 KX.

thanks maybe i will save for the cams instead myquad runs good real good pull hard down low all the way up to the higher rpms then falls off quick hopeing some cams will help it out oh dont know if it matters but i almost always just ride dunes .

If you add a intake system, and the cams, you will have alot more top end.

i have the fci intake so looks like i just need some cams . any one know if there is any performance in just installing the intake cam ? or should they both be installed to get any more power ?

If you can find a local shop that can dyno tune your KFX450 I'd suggest the PCIII or PCV. However, if you do not have access to a dyno go with a basic fuel controller. You'll regret going with a PCIII or a PCV if you can't find the right map. Maps for certain applications are hard to find. I've had trouble finding a worthy map for one off applications.

I accidentally deleted my dynojet KFX450 maps that I accumulated over time. I don't have any power commander maps currently for the KFX450.
