One thing about dyno's is that the majority of the shops are inertia dynometers such as the Dynojet. Inertia dynometers do not work right at partal throttle and at a constant load, they work at wide open throttle only. For that reason, dynojet dyno's have been less and less popular in the auto tuning world. If someone has a load bearing dyno or has upgraded their dynojet to an eddy current, then you can load the machine and perform partial throttle tuning to get the most of things.

I have been using the Dynojet dyno with Tuninglink for a few years now and there is no way I will go back to the manual process.

These days it takes me around 1 to 1.5 hours to do a fully custom made PCIII map with the tuninglink software.

The other day I got 2 LTR450's in with the Yoshi PIM on them, and it took me about an hour just to do 100% throttle position by hand.

If I had to do all throttle openings it would most likely have taken me around 4 to 6 hours to do the same work the Tuninglink does for me in a matter of minutes.

Lucky for me, these bikes are pure flat track racing bikes and hardly ever run below full throttle. I just checked to see that the rest of the throttle positions where ok and would not cause problems.
