PRM Skid Plate
Hey everyone I joined the site a while ago and I spend alot of time lurking around, and learning. But I needed a swing arm skid plate for my 09 kfx, and I chose the 250 PRM and just wanted to post a few pics for everyone. I dont know about the durably of the skid but the quality is extremely nice.

Looks good, let us know how it holds up. And you might wanna throw a little lube on that chain!!!

The hold up great!!! I've been running mine all XC season. Bent it back on chain side once from an incredibly hard hit, but other than that it's great. You'll love it. My Pro Armor was destroyed in one race, but I'd recommend PRM .250 swingarm skids to everyone.

I just did that tonight as a matter of fact. Superclean is a killer on chain lube. lol.
On a side note about chain lube did any of you guys ever use the DuPont Teflon Chain-Saver? I bought some they other day. It seems to be some awesome stuff.

I totally agree...
I run all PRM stuff on my 400EX.
Way better stuff in every aspect than that Pro(blem) Armor junk I bought for my KFX.
Thanks for the pics... particularly the underside pic...
Now I can have a look and see if I can swap my swinger skid and keep my belly.

Had the Pro Armor first and the Prm is the better choice.. Unlike the Pro Armor, it doesn't have bends to conform to the sprocket and brake disc, making it stronger.. I also have a smaller gap, between my Pro Armor engine skid and the chain side on the Prm.. Had my chain derailed by a stick with the Pro Armor, shouldn't happen with the Prm.. You also gain a little ground clearance.. Have had it about 2 months and it's holding up great...

well, I took it out this weekend to an atv park. There were some pretty rocky trails. I was extremely hard on the skidplate, and it handled it they ease.

Well I have beat the SNOT out of mine I have on my 400EX and have yet to hurt them.
It's a totally different animal than the Pro Armor stuff on my KFX.
You can tell the Pro Armor stuff isn't close in quality just by looking at the material.
Not even the same grade of aluminum...
I would have went with a full set of PRM, but I let those frame clamps on the belly skid part scare me away from the PRM to Pro Armor. That was a mistake... especially on the swinger skid.
That's why I appreciated this picture... so now I can check to see how it will line up to my belly skid.

does the PRM chassis skid extend all the way to the front box like the pro amor's? Currently I just have a pro armor swingarm skid, and stocker chassis skid, but would like to replace the factory chassis plastic crap.
