tape?
Has anyone ever heard of wraping the axle with elec.tape,for a little more protection and a strip on the front of the A-arms??????

iv done it and my brother also. its to keep the axle nut from gettin loose. i had a axle nut get loose on my kfx400 and it fixed it. its a cheap trick to do . its better that getting dura blue axle nut lock that is kinda pricy

my bosses came loose this weekend on his banshee and we just used red loctite and it held up fine the rest of the weekend

Yeah, I have taped the axle lock nut and threads before.
Helps if it loosens and helps keep crap out of the threads.
Dunno what purpose it would have on the A-arms though?

Yep we wrapped both quads with electrical tape to prevent slippage. I think the tape on the a-arm is to keep from chipping the powder coat. I did it with my old housers for a few months. Doesnt look good on my bright green a-arms now though.

Go buy a can of spray-on bedliner from the hardware store, and spray-bomb your axle and a-arms if you want protection from rock chips. Lol electrical tape would look like bum.
My buddy bought a can for 10 bucks (In Canada; I'm sure it would be even less in the states) and pained about a quarter of his old Bronco with it. It has almost a rubbery texture/feel to it, and doesn't chip for anything. It absorbs small impacts; cool stuff
