Preferred Skids?
Hey guys, I was wondering what your choice of skids are? Just got an 08' 450 but dont know much about em or aftermarket goods. I would prefer a complete package because I intend on taking it through some tough trails. Thanks.

I use Pro Armor skids and they are good. The swingarm skid I have had to bend back in shape several times. I hear good things about the PRM swinger skid. It will be my replacement. Good luck!

I run Pro Armor primarily, but go to PRM for the swingarm. It's a much more substantial skid, and after bending my Pro Armor bad I just switched.

They do. They made it for Yokley. They're around $150 I think. I'm actually just a few miles from them, and have had them look at some welding for me before. I think Dan is the guys' name? They look like nice skids...it's just a lot of cash to dish out.

I have a 1/4" prm skid in the rear but my main skid plate and a-arm guards are off ebay by JnJ Industries. Not the thickest material, but it has held up really well. Heres an auction for the set I have:
