Couple pics finally.
Both sides bowed up just a little but still impressed after the hits it took.

Here is the Pro Armor for comparison.
Much less coverage and much less clearance.

OH, and I am surprised you don't have 4 flat tires with that extreme of a ride.
Did you do the .125 or .190 thick skid?
I have the .250 on my 400EX and have never been able to phase it so far.

It's the .190 version. Figure I only go to AZ maybe once a year so it'll hold up for some time. Most of the stuff local I don't really have to worry about hitting anything, it's all logging roads or I head to the dunes. I have cut a tire here sliding around a corner on a sharp rock, cut the sidewall pretty bad. Had to ride 7 miles back to the truck with a flat, wasn't fun.

OK...
That makes it all match up in my mind a lot better.
.190 is good for arms and bellys...
And .190 is good for swingers too... "IF"... as you can see... you don't bang a lot of rocks really often at high speed.
I think it will serve you fine... and you can always beat it out too... lol...
Myself, I always take the thickest skid protection I can get.
I end up using it harshly, in spite of trying not to.
I don't go in search of rock gardens to crawl around on... but I do encounter a LOT of trail rocks.
I worry a bit about my linkage with the Pro Armor... and the skid in general because it's going to take more impacts due to hanging down considerably lower. I'm hitting stuff I am used to clearing.
I should just take it off an sell it before I mess it up and get a PRM .250.
If a 39t rear will clear it, I'm going to just do it I think.

I would Duster. I love my PRM .250 now. That Pro Armor took a few decently hard hits and it was done for. Horrible metallurgy. That skid was so week I couldn't believe it. My old Pro Armor swingarm skid on my 400 was amazing...but they just aren't good like they used to me. I was shocked when I saw how strong the PRM was when I got it. That .250 is a freakin beast...and it really helped havin the extra clearance in the first race. That said...I wanna try out a GT Thunder or Lonestar rotor/sprocket guard combo w/a chain guide to see how it helps w/rutted tracks.
